5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking pantsReviewed by Baja Bert from San Diego on Monday, February 5, 2024These are great quality hiking pants. At this price, I just ordered my 4th pair! However, there are a couple of things you need to know. These are "athletic fit", meaning they are "slim fit". (It is clearly on the tag when you get them, but don't know why STP doesn't put that in the description...?) I am a true 33" waist and the 34s fit me perfectly. Also, the back pockets are small and pushed towards the sides rather than in a "normal" spot. If you are sitting down, it's nice that there is no bulky stuff in your pocket to sit on, but if you like to carry a lot of stuff in your back pockets (phone, wallet) then these pockets are probably too small. Basically, these are great hiking pants because you're gonna carry all your stuff in your pack. But if you want to "look" like a hiker and just wear these as casual pants, the back pockets might be an issue.
