5.0 out of 5 stars. Good WInter Boot

Just purchased my second pair (got my first pair a little too close to the fire!)
Boot has kept me warm and completely dry through two winters. I am often standing still, which is when the cold tends to set in. Fit is true to size. If you need a boot for heavy snowfall, this is it. Have not used in temps below zero so I cannot speak to that.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Snug but not warm enough for Boston
Reviewed by cjw9698 from Boston MA on Wednesday, December 19, 2018
I like these boots once I broke into them. Fits snug even with thick wool socks. Not too bulky. However it is tricky to put these on and take them off so that I avoid wearing these unless I know there is 1 foot of snow outside. Also I can't say these are super warm, I still need to turn the car heat towards my feet while the car is warming up in order to keep my toes from freezing. I was conflicted about returning these or keeping them and now I slightly regret not having returned them. They're somewhat annoying to put on and take off, and they're not that warm for Boston winters.

need a tall boot for Minnesota winter. Tried this one and it just fits so great. It came right on the day when snow storm just happened, tried it out and it super warm, with no socks and 20ish temp, my feet feel warm, and dry.

These boots are so comfortable and warm. They slip on and off easily without having to untie them, which is great for quick on and off during ski trips! Definitely recommend!

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
