Fits snug even with thick wool socks. Not too bulky. However it is tricky to put these on and take them off so that I avoid wearing these unless I know there is 1 foot of snow outside. Also I can't say these are super warm, I still need to turn the car heat towards my feet while the car is warming up in order to keep my toes from freezing. I was conflicted about returning these or keeping them and now I slightly regret not having returned them. They're somewhat annoying to put on and take off, and they're not that warm for Boston winters.

It came right on the day when snow storm just happened, tried it out and it super warm, with no socks and 20ish temp, my feet feel warm, and dry.

Boot has kept me warm and completely dry through two winters. I am often standing still, which is when the cold tends to set in. Fit is true to size. If you need a boot for heavy snowfall, this is it. Have not used in temps below zero so I cannot speak to that. -

I was SO excited to get them( I didn't get them fromSTP, got them at EMS) When I tried on the first boot and pulled the laces the PLASTIC D-ring broke! They look like metal but they're not. I was so disappointed. I can't believe North Face would make such a cheap boot. I had read other reviews saying the same thing, I should have listened to them.
