Reviewed by Boymom from Texas on Thursday, June 13, 2013I like this raincoat. I have wanted it for a long time but didn't want to pay $200, and was thrilled to find it cheaper at Sierra Trading Post. It fits well, is well-made, and looks nice. Definitely a dressier style than my usual raincoat, but I like that it's nice and long. Wore it in a downpour and stayed completely dry. My husband has had problems with his North Face Hyvent jackets wherein the waterproof coating inside peels out over time. This raincoat is Hyvent, but is lined, so it will be hard to tell if it does peel. I plan to hand wash it in Woolite or similar to extend its life.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Maine Girls from Norfolk, VA on Monday, November 19, 2012Perfect for any rainy weather...long enough to keep you dry even in the windiest storms. Gorgeous color and detailing...gone are the days of rubber coats!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Honeybadger from AK on Monday, September 3, 2012Wish this had been more for the price, lined in a pretty quality fabric would be a great start, this needed a little tiny more weight to the design to hold the coat up better when wearing. This is light and packable, size is little snug so might want to size up. belt could have been stitched down to give a little more weight to belt, sort of ties like a ribbon instead of a substantial tie waste belt for a coat. These are such easy fixes, why does it take a consumer to point this out, I should be on someones payroll for design integrity !!
- Cons: Not Lined With Quality M
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sporty and Dry from Michigan on Thursday, August 23, 2012As someone with with wide hips, I worry about longer jackets being too tight. This jacket has enough room, yet not too much making it bulky. Very slimming and perfect for cooler drizzly days. I also love the look of the stand up collar with the hood. I've already spot washed the jacket and the dirt just came right off this great fabric.
