Amazing backpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Abstract Angel from Tennessee on Wednesday, May 9, 2018This is both comfortable and roomy. The build is light weight and the cut fits like it was made for me.
North face Back packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Flor from Texas on Thursday, January 11, 2018It's very nice and lots of space and most of all it's a lot cheaper than Amazon.
Nice PackVerified Buyer Reviewed by imasherpa from Tennessee on Sunday, January 7, 2018I have been looking for another commuter pack for a while and liked the features on the women's surge. The things I like the most are the compartments. The computer compartment opens completely giving you lots of room to access your computer or any flat papers you might need. The front compartment is great for all the storage and organization. The middle compartment is just an open compartment but that is quite usual in packs to have one large open compartment. The things I do not like are the lack of a padded waist belt. My other Northface pack had a padded waist strap that stored inside small compartments when not in use. The waist strap on the Surge is just a very narrow web with a clasp, not comfortable at all. The shoulder straps are a little skimpy as well. I am 5"10" and maybe should have gotten the male version, but am not sure it would have changed the size of the shoulder strap. Bottom line, I am going to give it a go and see how it works.

Good as alwaysVerified Buyer Reviewed by Aktnt from alaska on Tuesday, September 26, 2017Good built, good quality backpack for women. Lots of pockets and fleece liner is big plus for just because. LOL However, i have 2 concern..... Number 1 is total weight, bit heavy perhaps because of well built and material. And Laptop compartment is very thick. Number 2 is side pocket outside bag for water bottle and such does not have any adjustment. So smaller size bottle will fell if you bent over or back pack moves upside down. No problem for larger size bottle because there are straps. Over all I like ti very much after I use it for Travel overseas. Good size to put under seat infant of you on the plane. And feel good staying on my back for long walk.
Nice pack with lots of features, a bit heavyVerified Buyer Reviewed by mwsllc from Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016This is a nicely organized pack with a TSA-friendly computer pocket that zips open and lays flat. I really like the extra handle on the back(?) of the bag that helps me get it into the overhead compartment on a plane. It is a bit heavy dues to the fabric and padding for the laptop and I wouldn't take it hiking but it makes a good travel bag and carries all the things I need for work.
