  • I hope they won't shrink.

Fit well otherwise, but probably not for a thick person.
  • Better than all wool tights

My all wool SmartWool tights get floppy by the end of the day. These, with more petroleum product in the fiber, stay where they're put. Sad but true. They work very well.
  • A tad itchy to wear

These tights seem true to size but they are a little itchy to wear unlike the smartwool merino clothing so if you are sensitive to wool these might not be for you. They are warm though just a bit rough feel-wise when you wear them.

My Wife just loves these thights. Therefore, they must fit well and be comfortable. Considering they are made by Smartwool, I wouldn't expect anything less.

I bought these as a gift for my sister, who is always cold, and she wants another pair.

    • based on a customer review: Not so thick they won't fit in shoes, but definitely not nylons!!! love the wool.

  • “It is very hard to see what color this is. Could you please give me a better description than "forest"? Would these tights go with the "Deep sea" color Smartwool has in dresses and shirts? How about with a gray dress?”

  • “I need a very loose waistband - super comfortable even though I am slim (5'5", 115 lbs) otherwise I get stomach aches. How comfortable is the waistband? Will it (hopefully) stretch over time? Thanks, Jill”
