The Older The Pad, The Sweeter the SleepReviewed by Rico Hardcore New Mexico from God's Country U.S.A. on Thursday, December 21, 2017This is an older model NeoAir but nevertheless a good one! I think it's a little heavier fabric and that's why it weighs more than the new ones, plus it's rectangular shape not mummy style. I am a big guy, 6'-3" and I like the bigger square corner Thermarests so when I throw an arm out of my sleeping bag in the middle of the night it lands on a pad and not on the ground like with the new mummy style pads. The slightly heavier fabric gives me a false sense of puncture proofness that only a "flat pad night survivor" would appreciate. Pleasant Dreams!!
