1.0 out of 5 stars. Heads up! Wrong ProductReviewed by Hannah from MD on Friday, January 17, 2020Please be aware that the Thermarest packaging is labeled for a ProLite 4, but the product itself is a Pro 4. Shape and material are different than advertised for the ProLite 4, but I believe the R-value is still 3.2.
I've received the wrong product twice now (original + exchange), so wanted to make others aware until the Sierra team is able to address the existing issues. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. ImpressedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Emily from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 16, 2019Haven't gotten to use this in the field yet,but left it blown up for a day to test - it easily self-inflated after that. Packs down to a little bigger than a Nalgene, and I like the thickness. Can't feel my hip hitting the hard floor! Excited to try this outside :)

5.0 out of 5 stars. really comfortable, excellent priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by sparekitty from pasadena, california on Tuesday, August 7, 2018everyone knows that thermarest is the industry standard for affordable, comfortable, reliable sleeping pads. this particular pad works exactly as expected. it's not pretty (icky color) but whatever, it worked PERFECTLY in slough creek at Yellowstone last week. I almost bought a prettier color but chose to save the $$.. thermarest and sierra trading post--an excellent combination!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Bought 5Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tsaddi from Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 26, 2017We bought 5 of these over the last year Therma Rest is a great product I have been using for over 20 years. We sleep on these not just when traveling but as our regular beds. They hold up well. They don't take long to air up and pack down small enough.
We found this design to be better than the newer air ones that you have to blow up more and that pack down smaller. My husband is over 6 ft and it works for him. If you are over 200 pounds you may want the thicker mat because your hips can get sore if you sleep on your side and you are not used to a firm sleeping surface. This mat will last years if you take proper care of it. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Functional but Cosmetically WeirdReviewed by Anonymous from Hawaii on Wednesday, October 18, 2017The pad came in perfect condition, except for some cosmetic bleeding. Mine is covered is weird black runes .... while it is not the biggest of deals, they spook me out! I contacted a specialist at Sierra Trading Post, and learned that some level of bleeding (I presume ink of some sort) is normal in all of these pads. I’m sending mine back.... I just wanted a simple orange pad!

1.0 out of 5 stars. LeakedReviewed by AMS from Los Angeles on Sunday, August 13, 2017I took this on a 5 day camping trip, day 3 lost all air. Duct taped a tiny hole in it, did not hold. Slept on this doubled over and a crazy creek chair rest of trip. Unpleasant.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Light and smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Campaholic from Massachusetts on Monday, July 17, 2017I have been buying lightweight and smaller camp pads to use on airline flights to camping sites. This one seems to fit the bill for what I have been looking for.
Lightweight- hovering a little over a pound- and folds up pretty small. Not bad for a full size pad. The width is a tad narrow, but that shouldn't present a problem.
Drawback? There is no carrying bag provided. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Really good backpacking padVerified Buyer Reviewed by JM from NYC on Thursday, March 23, 2017Excellent 3 season pad. A little heavy and bulky by today's top of the line standards, and it comes without a stuff sack. However with deal flyer on STP you can pay $55 or so for the 4; the Prolite Plus (the new name for the Prolite 4 ) with stuff sack sells for $89, so the savings are big. I carry it in a Thermarest 11.5 liter stuff sack ($15) attached to my pack. If you want an ultralite airpad expect to pay well over $100. If you want a great time tested pad under 2 lbs this is it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Thin but effectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Wednesday, November 9, 2016Packs really small, so not the thickest pad out there, but that wasn't expected.
