Light weight and convenient, but with a sacrifice of comfort

I tried this pad out for a three night backpacking trip and was pleased with how light they are, and how convenient it is to pack them up when breaking camp. However, compared to the inflatable therm-a-rest pads I'm accustomed to, these are not nearly as cushioned. They aren't too bad if you sleep soundly on your back, but if you're a side sleeping (or even on your chest), the lack of cushioning is very noticeable on your hips. If you want something light, fast, and easy, this is for you. If you want more comfort and can handle a little more weight (plus the inflating and re-rolling), consider an air filled pad.
