Light and Multipurpose

I am a new backpacker. I got this as a cheap, durable sleeping pad solution and with about 7 nights on it, I really like it. Being able to pop it off my pack and use it as a comfy place to sit during the day or unfold it partially to make a headrest and torso pad for midday napping is super useful and made life happier. I will say that I did not sleep like I was at home. But you can hardly blame that on the pad: nibbling forest creatures...cold ambient air...rustling neighbors...sore muscles....a sleeping pad doesn't make these things all go away. But I didn't expect to be able to sleep like I was at home, so I don't blame the sleeping pad.
