It was a little odd to find as much padding in the heel and toe areas(like Thorlo tennis socks) and very little material in the mid-foot area; BUT, they work out just fine. Even though I sold socks as a rep and at retail; I can't bring myself to pay $12-15 for standard athletic socks, so I am happy to find such bargains on STP.
These socks are typical high quality as expected from Thorlo and actually fit my jumbo sized feet! All is good!!! -

Very comfortable but a bit cooler when compared with traditional Thorlo socks.

They are not good for running. I wanted to return them after receiving but the return shipping wasn't worth the cost. I don't know of a use for these other than casual wear, maybe around the house or with big shoes for walking.

The problem is finding the right size, as they stretch A LOT. They seem to fit when first put on, but relax over the course of the run or the day, resulting in uneccessary bulk and crowded toes. So I do recommend them, but order small if bulk is a concern.
