My husband assembled this in less than 30 minutes and is very impressed with the design, the instructions and the packing of hardware. (He has assembled many things for me over 35 yrs!) I am impressed with the size of the table when set up that way. Pictures are hard to judge by. This looks like a normal picnic table size, with maybe one less board width on table. It will be very usable for 4 adults or 6 kids. Very glad I took the chance. It does have a stain finish, but I plan to use deck sealer on it.

(With the discount they were cheaper than new plastic cans at the local big box store.) They are unobtrusive; the balance is excellent. They are big enough to hold a decent amount of water, and small enough to be easy to manage, even for the hanging plants. I took the sprinkler heads off, and appreciated that they could be unscrewed. No hack saw required!
