Strong boyish fabric, lean shape so no excess baggy flappy bits on the thighs - not good if you have thick thighs but if long and lean - just great on my beanpole legged husband. Just wish they were slightly longer. Wonderful slightly different blue colour.

Loved them when they arrived, fit is great on my 34" waist husband. Size 34 ordered. However, washed and wore once and after laundering the second time the fabric on the back pocket split. Return packaging has been thrown away (thought we wanted to keep everything) and due to the cost to return items to Sierra, will try to repair. What a bummer - nice looking shorts too bad they split.

Very tight seat and very loose waist. Also, the button fly is annoying.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
