I picked these up for [$] Fantastic price and a great product. I use these shoes for recreational purposes when out at the lake, etc. and they have held up great. Definitely recommend.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Destroys back of ankle/achilles area

Great look and traction but rubs the back of my ankle to the point of bleeding. I have to wear socks to protect my ankles which defeats the purpose. I wish I could wear these more often. They fit great other wise

Because they are so light-weight I take these shoes with me while travelling. They allow me to engage in a lot of out-door activities while away from home: going to the beach, sailing with friends, taking leisurely hikes, and joging for exercise.

These are ok for water shoes, but they are not really substantial enough to wear on land for any long period of time. The fit is a bit long too...I wanted to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller (which is a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear) but STP didn't have it in that size, so I kept them for kayaking. They will serve me well for that.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
