Most Helpful 4-Star Review
BetterReviewed by Jim, a watch guy from Olympia, WA on Wednesday, November 29, 2017This is an addendum to my original review. I finally had the bright idea of finding the Timex manual on line at www.timex.com/manuals -- the site had much better instructions for calibrating the compass. It now works as expected.
Short of the markReviewed by Jim, a watch guy from Olympia, WA on Sunday, August 13, 2017I purchased this at an outlet store a few hours from home. When I got it home, I discovered the factory-installed battery was dead. I took the watch to a nearby jeweler and had both the battery and the band replaced. After several tires at calibration, the compass feature might work once or twice then go away. Re-calibration has become frustrating, so I stopped using the compass. The look and feel of the watch, with new sport band, are both good, as is the illumination -- so I do wear it.
