I love these shoes, and wear them almost daily! What they lack in arch support, they make up for in quality and comfort. I have TERRIBLE feet (bunions, long toes, you name it), and I usually have to wear shoes like these with socks for at least a month in order to break them in. These were immediately wearable shoes, and felt as if I had already broken them in. One odd side note, though, was that I usually wear between 8.5 and 9, and the sizing advice mentioned to size up if you're between sizes, so I ordered a 9. However, I had to send them back because they were too big. The size 8 was perfect, and the leather will likely expand slightly with wear.

These are well made shoes and they are attractive. I don't agree that you should size up. They do lack support as other have said. That's not a real issue for me. They do feel like they will stretch and that concerns me in terms of slipping off the heel. Overall I am pleased.

My daughter wore this shoe foe two hours and in this short time, the sole separated from the leather part. We usually love Toms but these were not up to their usual quality

I wear 8.5 and I tried these in both 8 and 9 and neither fit right. I really wanted them to work because I wanted a cute, close-toed "sandal" for summer. They're made in mexico (like traditional Huarache's) and seem high quality, I think they would have been comfortable had they fit.

I got dove, which was a light gray. I was hoping for white, but they're definitely not white. The sole was a bit strange, but since I'm returning them I didn't have a chance to see how it felt to walk longer distances in them.

About TOMS

When Blake Mycoskie decided to start his own company, he had a specific goal in mind. From the very beginning, the mission behind TOMS has been giving back, which is how Blake created the One for One® program -- a unique business model designed to help a person in need with every product sold. The mission got started with TOMS shoes in 2006 and has since expanded into TOMS sunglasses and TOMS Roasting Co. (coffee). In addition to providing more than 35 million pairs of shoes to impoverished children, TOMS has also helped restore sight for more than 257,000 people since 2011 and has provided more than 67,000 weeks of safe drinking water since launching the coffee brand in 2014.
