The most comfortable pair of boots I have ever had. I wear them every day instead of my sneakers, that how great they are.

I love the boots. I read the other reviews about them fitting big and was a little nervous about the size. I ordered a 7 and usually wear a 7.5 in boots. They are a little big but work just fine with the right socks. I do find it kind of hard to get the boot on because of the tighter shaft. However, it is ok once I get it on. I ordered the black. They look great with leggings and skinny jeans!

I am shoe size 6.5 got them in 7 and fit too big so I had to exchange them. Super easy exchange for black 6.5 but they were to stif and were still big

I ordered my true size, 8.5, and i knew upon opening them they were mislabeled. They looked like a large man's size 10! Put it on anyway and reminded me of putting on daddy's shoes as a child. Would have reordered but didin't want to take the chance again. STP must have agreed the size was mislabeled because they didn't charge return shipping. Thanks STP, for the great customer service.

Very comfortable boots to wear! They run odd in size though. I normally wear an 8 and I bought a 7 1/2 and they're still a little too big though they're narrow to get on. Once on though they aren't narrow at all.

  • “Can you explain the type of sole on this boot? Is it a thick rubber sole with good grip, as it appears to be in the photos?ho”

  • “Do these boots run true to size? Is the 8 a true eight, or do you recommend ordering a half size up?||Thanks!”
Asked by Lisa from Unknown on 2/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
    • According to our fit models these shoes are running true to size and width.

  • “If the height is 10", is that from the floor or from the top of the heel--or from some other place? Also if the calf is 12", is that the maximum circumference at the top of the boot? I think my calf may be slightly more than that, but I'm wondering if some of my calf might be higher than the top of the boot--which is why it may be important to know how that 10" height is measured. Thanks for any advice.”
Asked by Rock from Unknown on 1/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
    • The height is measured from the top of the heel. The circumference is at the top of the boot shaft.

  • “I just had to return my second pair of these boots!! I have worn Tony Lama for many year and this is my first pair that I cannot get the fit right. I am discouraged but am trying one more pair, I have gone from a 7, to a 6.5 and now trying a 6. I think it should mention somewhere that these boots run large by a full size.||Thanks, they are beautiful boots and I am hoping this last pair will fit, once they arrive.||Cheryl Morris, long time Sierra Trading Post customer.”
