I received an 8 pound steel frame chair, not stainless steel, not aluminum. The TravelChair model is Teddy 579V. I think the chair is a overpriced, even at Sierra. But the chair does seem well made. I think it will be more durable than the Walmart versions of folding chairs. The mesh serves little purpose. Body weight is supported primarily by the straps. Yet I find the chair reasonably comfortable, even sitting on straps. I am 5'10" and 150 pounds.

Everything about the chair is quality. They're also very comfortable, similar to the Travelchair Easy Rider. The mesh seat material doesn't hold water, and the support straps in the seat and back do a great job of providing additional support to the mesh.

We are please with their construction and the light weight that the aluminum frame provides.
