Traveler’s Choice Toronto Spinner Luggage Set - Hardside, Expandable, 3-Piece

Closeouts. Traveler's Choice Toronto hardside spinner luggage set is as durable as it is lightweight. Thanks to ABS hard shell exteriors, not one of the three suitcases -- 20," 24" and 28" -- weighs in over 10 lb., and all expand an additional 2" to allow 25% more packing space.

We were looking for some "knock around" luggage, as damage to our existing suitcases was getting to be a bother. This 3 piece set was offered at an amazingly low price and so, based on other reviews but with some trepidation, we ordered two sets. My initial impression was "way too flimsy," but on closer inspection, it is sturdier than it at first appears. The lining is far from deluxe, but serviceable. The zippers all work well and, after one trip, it is unscathed. While it is certainly not Coach or Hartmann quality, it is surprisingly sturdy and represents an amazingly good bargain. If you don't mind a lack of interior padding and less than elegant lining, this set will work for you.

As I was searching for some new luggage - specifically the "spinner" type - I came across this from STP. Having looked on-line at a few "warehouse" stores, thinking that they would have the best deals, this set from STP came out on top. First of all, the wheels have a different construction that appears to make them less obtrusive, therefore less likely to break-off in transit. The wheels also don't protrude as much as other sets I've seen. Secondly, this luggage set is very lightweight. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that I haven't been able to use the set yet, as I have just returned from a trip. But from what I can tell, this luggage set will be the best I've had so far.

After taking these on a couple trips I have this to say; the luggage set is very spacious, durable and allows for all your stuff to be fit.

The smallest bag can easily be used for a weekend getaway as a carry on. Fits in overhead compartments with room to spare. When walking with them in an upright position with all 4 wheels on the ground its a little tough to push. Overall we like the set.

The second largest bag is just a little too big for a carry on and needs to be a checked bag.

Set would be nicer if the bags had outside pockets, the wheels worked better in an upright position (works fine when dragging behind you) abd the smallest bag was small enough to be a personal item and fit under an airplane seat. But nevertheless we are quite pleased, well worth the bargain.

Was really worried that the handles would pull off, unpacked they have lots of flex. Did improve with packing and made it through the first flight completely scratch/dent free. So it is sturdier than it looks!!
