thick fabricVerified Buyer Reviewed by silver from Colorado on Wednesday, September 5, 2018Beautiful color. Fabric is thick and thus the shirt doesn't hang as well - on my body, at least. It is tight across the chest, as are most shirts (if they fit in the shoulders - I have narrow shoulders) which is why I don't buy a lot of woven shirts. When I do, I usually wear a tank underneath and leave the top few buttons undone to take care of the gapping problem. For some reason, maybe because of the stiffer fabric, this shirt kept slipping backwards off of my shoulders. I bought this shirt to replace a Columbia shirt I'd had for hiking and which I lost; that shirt was a thinner fabric and did not slide off of my shoulders.
I think this shirt will stand up well for someone who has broader shoulders and maybe a smaller chest. Again, it's a beautiful color (hot pink - attracted some hummingbirds while I was sitting on a rock outcropping), it provides sun protection, and the fabric is sturdy. It is probably best worn on cooler days.
weird fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pac NW kid from Albany, OR on Thursday, June 21, 2018I liked the fabric and color and wanted to make it work but the fit was really off at the shoulders. I wear a size 10/medium blouse very comfortably but honestly have never run into shoulders like these. I wondered if it was a mistake in the manufacturing it was so odd.
