Does what it's supposed to do, and quite effectively.

Used it for the first time today climbing Bear Mtn. (CT-AT) in blowing snow, air temp in the 20's, 30 mph gusts. I had 2 light layers and a polar fleece underneath and knew that it would block the wind well enough, but was really impressed with the breathability. I don't know if it's the fabric, the venting, or both, but I never felt clammy with that layering as the conditions varied. I put it on as I approached the summit ridge and was so comfortable in it that I kept it on all the way back down to the Under Mtn. trailhead. This will be in my daypack, year-round, as my emergency layer, well thought-out and a steal at the STP price.
