I've been wearing these boots for only 2 weeks. They are comfortable and light. The ankle padding was stiff at first, but it didn't take long for either the padding or my ankles to acclimate. The only reason that I gave these boots 4 stars and not 5 is that the soles aren't solid enough for me. I like a stiff sole, one that doesn't flex easily and one that protects the soles of my feet. I wear hiking boots almost every day. I walk on stones and tree roots, and I feel it in these boots. I'm comparing them to my last pair of Asolo's. That being said, the insoles in the Trezeta Adventures are comfortable and soft and feel good as long as I'm not walking on imperfections on rocks or other hard objects. If I were to redesign these boots, I'd make a couple of changes. I'd stiffen the sole and I would move the lace lock down one set of eyelets or add another just below where they are now. I'm finding it difficult to lock my foot in place to keep it from sliding forward on downhills. If the lace locks were lower, it would work much better. I've found the waterproofing and the vent to work well. And I've tested them both. All in all, not a bad boot for the price.
