Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from 7000 ft. Utah Rocky Mountains. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018I've only taken one short hike about five miles but it was mostly vertical, and found them to be very easy to break in, very light, and sturdy. My hike was through sagebrush covered rock interspersed with patches of snow. I came back with my feet dry, boots intact, and glad I bought these boots.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hikr75 from California on Wednesday, March 7, 2018This rating strictly based upon fit & feel of the boot out of the box; haven't worn them enough to provide a performance evaluation. I'm on the narrow side of medium and these feel great + I got them on clearance so the value is a plus. They'll primarily be used for city walking, so the lighter weight of this boot compared to more robust hikers should be another benefit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by bird from Michigan on Wednesday, March 7, 2018very stiff and inflexible sole
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mark from MN from Minnesota on Thursday, February 1, 2018Overall, I like these a lot after wearing them on and off for a month. They were a little stiff at the start and needed some breaking in, but feel great now. They are very supportive and the Vibram sole is excellent. Time will tell how well they wear, but so far everything seems very sturdy. The laces are top notch. The fit is true to size. These are supposed to be waterproof and breathable and I've gotten them wet a few times -- so far no leaks. My only complaint is that they aren't very breathable and get clammy indoors or if I'm exerting much outdoors. This is Minnesota in the winter, so it's not a big problem, but a more breathable membrane would be helpful.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ksubers from Burien, Wa on Wednesday, January 17, 2018Nice boots. I typically wear a size 9 1/2 but i had to go up to size 10 on these. So go 1/2 size up when you order

“Would these be warm enough for apres ski, and mucking about in snow? Not looking for full on mountaineering boots, but rather something comfortable, waterproof, and warm for walking about the village after snowboarding. Thanks!”
No way. These are strictly a summer boot.
These are not insulated or designed for winter use.
Yes, they are relatively warm for not being insulated, waterproof so far and comfortable for walking.
“My foot measures 10.5 narrow. Would these boots work for my narrow foot & should I order my normal length?”
I wear an 11 and purchased that size. Boot fits true to size. I dont have a wide foot and these fit well for me not to tight or to loose. I think if had wide foot they may be to tight but narrow foot you should be fine
According to our fit team this item is running true to size. These are a standard medium.
Foot sizes are very individual so I can't really say. my foot is more normal. Sierra trading post gives you a return label with each order so if they don't fit it is possible to return them. I would check to see if there is a store nearby where you live so you could try them at the store if possible
