Way Too Much Trouble

I have been putting tents up since I was ten and consider myself to be a gear geek, but this sun shade was almost impossible to set up by myself and if I had asked my partner we would have been in couples therapy for an extra week. The poles fall apart as you try to pull them through the sleeves. The tension is so great when the last pole is inserted that I risked impaling myself and nearly took out two bushes in my yard while chasing it down when the wind took it. When it was finally up it seemed rather unstable and someone is bound to trip on the straps that hold the legs together. It looks nice and would be fine to sit under, but I'd be looking for a shower by the time I got it up. Taking it down was just as unpleasant since the same problem with poles disconnecting in sleeves when I tried to get them out. I'm never going to need shade this bad, so I'm returning it. I'd be better off building a hexayurt.
