Love these snowshoes, replaced other ones I had that featured a floating hinge and single pull straps. These are much better. I like the fixed hinge as when you take a step you aren't having to lift the tail of the snowshoe and you don't get snow kicked up on your butt. It is much easier and energy efficient to walk in the Tubbs. I also like the binding system as it is much simpler and the straps don't freeze up as there is less of them. The heel lift is a big bonus when going up steep hills, much less strain on the calves.

Bought these after the Yukon Jack's snowshoes failed and broke. These are high quality, easy to adjust...highly recommend!
