I was very hopeful for these snowshoes thought Tubbs was a good brand and these are normally a $250 shoe. These were for my wife, the leather on the binding broke on first use definitely rotten. Not impressed.

If you are even slightly considering buying these, do it. You won't regret it! I bought them to bring up on a trip to northern MN and they were AMAZING in the deep snow! We used them on trails (my hubby bought the some ones in mens) and were so thrilled with the performance! The straps work great and are super strong, they don't loosen with wear and are easy to operate even with cold, shaky fingers. If you love rustic, traditional looking outdoor gear, but love the functionality of modern equipment, these are for you!
