I have rented these same shoes at a National Park and had a blast. Wanted my own pair! Excellent grip and traction on crusts and flotation on snow. Pays for itself after just a few uses compared to rentals

This is my second pair of these snowshoes. I wanted one pair for the cabin and one pair for MSP. They are easy to get on and off. They adjust to very different sized foot wear. They are very sure footed , handling icy conditions very well. I have plantars fascia titis and they let me hike for many hours in comfort.

I went with Tubbs because they are both Seattle and Vermont--two great places to hike. Also, researched the Flex Tail and the ability to pivot within the shoe. This showshoe prevents you from slipping on branches and rocks because it doesn't have the metal exterior frame. The price was unbelievable through Sierra Trading Post, so I grabbed them immediately. This is an all around excellent shoeshoe that will take you over hill and dale with great ease and fun.
