I am 5'2" and ordered the small size. I washed it as soon as I received it and it fits perfectly, reaching my ankles and wrapping totally around for full coverage. It feels cozy and luxurious and I hate to take it off!

Just what I expected! I have had a terry cloth bathrobe for many years and it finally began to show signs of wear, so time for a new one. It is warm and cozy and the best to have when you get out of a shower!! I hope this one lasts me several years. And the bright red color is fun!

I wish there were an extra small-- I'm 5'5 ish, and it hits near the ankles as shown, roomy in the shoulders and sleeves for my frame. But it feels pretty good to wrap up in this and the blue-green color is a unique find.

Got this robe for X-mas ... I love it ..
Bought it a size up as I have always experienced a shrinkage over the years of washing cotton terry robes..
    I'm 5'1 and large busted ~ I bought a Med.. instead of a small.. Glad I did .
The Med is a tad long it does drag a bit , if not tied, that's OK ..I can always fix that if needed.

I was looking for a full coverage robe in a 100% cotton.
Most robes when you tie them, they really don't wrap fully around the legs..
But this robe does ! I love it .
And the Coral colour is Very Vibrant ! More of a Bright Salmon Love it ..

I have washed and tumble dried it and it did shrink a tad . I washed in the manner so that it would shrink .
This robe is a great value , Nice heavy cotton terry,
Love the style from the shawl front to the cuffs and nice large pockets !

I can see this robe lasting for many years to come...

    • Hi there! I would say that it's exactly the same material as outside, the cotton terry. I do have to say that this robe's gotten softer with each wash. We have several different ones from STP and the one (men's version that was listed w/o a weight) is heavier and 'plushier' but this one is still very nice. Hope that this helps!
Answered on 12/28/2015 10:35:39 AM by NoVa Gal from Northern VA
    • it's heavyweight terry and identical to the outside except for a softer loop. This is SO warm that I think plush would be pretty stifling...I've had mine now for a couple of months and have washed it several times with no ill effect. Love it, wear it every day
weather allows - since we're not seeing winter here in TN until next year (end of this week), not as much as I'd like. As a sidebar, I expected some shedding and fading (got the purple) but neither was a problem. Would buy another if this one ever wears out!

    • Do not order the large! I am 180, 5' 5" and the Large is waaaay too big, and loooong, for me. I suggest the Med. or maybe even the Small.

    • I'm about the same size and got a large. Wraps around so nicely that the wrap will touch your opposite hip. No is warm!

    • Sorry for the late response - these run pretty large. A L in this robe looks to me more like 14-16 size BUT with a caveat that if you like roomier (hotel-style fit) and don't forget that these do shed quite a bit on first wash. I think a M is plenty big for someone at your size and with your petite height you will be tripping over this robe unless you wash and dry it to shrink up a bit.

    • I don't think the robe runs very large. I'm the same height and wear a 16 pant and XL top and I purchased an XL robe. It is plenty big a comfy. You could try the L.

    • I'm 5'9' and a size 8 and bought a medium. It fits me in the shoulders and is a bit big elsewhere. But I like a robe to fit that way. Right below the pockets, it's 58" from one side to the next.

    • I'm thinking large. I ordered a medium and usually wear either a 12 or small 14. Nice thing, I'm 5'4" and it nearly comes down to my feet, which I like.
Answered on 3/30/2015 7:47:30 PM by qagaye from Spokane
    • I normally wear size 10/12 or medium so I ordered a medium and MAYBE could have ordered a small but I like it a bit big so it overlaps quite a bit in the front and is to my ankles in length but I am only 5'4". I do think you would need to order a large and expect the fit to be a little less loose.
Answered on 3/30/2015 8:31:36 PM by jo from michigan
    • I think I would go large. I'm a 14, 5'6" and the M was just right for me. After a few washes I'd say I'm at the outer limits (girth) of a M.

    • I would recommend the Large for a size 16. The Medium seemed to be a good fit, for ankle length, sleeves were a bit long, and the front pockets seemed to over-lap when wrapped around waist, for a 5'5" size 12 woman. So, the Large may be the right sizing for you at a size 16.
Answered on 3/31/2015 7:22:38 AM by Bargain hunter for style from Arizona
    • I am short and wear an 8 or 10. I should have bought the small. the medium will fit you nicely in length. maybe a size 16 would be o.k. with the large. a size 12 or 14 would be fine for the medium..but I am not sure about size 16. you may be safest with the large since it is cotton and could shrink a little.
