okay, does the job

Thank you for the reviews regarding the sz. I bought small, (123lbs, 5'4) and this is a tad roomy and goes just beyond the ankles, truly full length. I use this as a bath robe.

After having read ALL of the reviews prior to purchasing, I am mildly disappointed - I thought I was getting a $$$$ robe for $, but like they say, I got what I paid for. The fabric for the robe absorbs well, but reminds me of a cheap towel. Let me explain: the terry loops of the fabric are long, but the fabric is loosely woven. You could easily see light through the fabric, and also why some have complained of seeing white threads in the purple robe. The longer terry loops absorb moisture well. I did NOT think this was anywhere near the quality of the nicer hotel robes (actually i have not ever used a comercial robe of this poor quality). I have a 17 year old terry robe that i had bought at w-mart (yes, wally world) that is actually nicer than this. My old robe develped a hole at the upper back where I hang it (it does not have a hanging tab like this robe) after all these years. I would have much preferred a robe with a much tighter weave and shorter loop - much more durable, more plush, just as absorbent.

Pros: inexpensive for a cotton terry robe, lavander is a light pretty color, absorbs moisture, longer length

Cons: Long terry loops with non-tight weave will not be durable (expect this to last 3 years max), NOT plush, a lot of shedding after 1st wash.
