I am in love with this robe

Fifteen to twenty years ago, I bought two of these robes, one for me and one for my then-husband. I love that it goes almost all the way down to my ankles, and the fold-up cuffs make it feel luxurious. I see reviews confused about the fold-up cuffs. That's a fashion thing. It doesn't mean it's too big for you. Anyway, for my tall husband, who wears men's XL, I bought the women's XL. The chest size was sufficient, it appeared. My guess was right. He loved that, unlike most other robes designed for men, it went halfway down his calves, to keep the draft off his legs. The only thing he needed to do was not fold up the sleeves.

This is rather a heavy robe. If you have all-over pain or mobility issues, or are recovering from surgery or injury, it may be too much for you. Go for something lightweight and velour. For the rest of us, it's pure luxury!

My robe has lasted all this time, and has only just started falling apart now. The fabric is thinning and tearing across the back at the shoulders, and the nap is worn off where the cuff folds. Otherwise, it is still warm, soft, and cozy. It is thick, luxurious, and a real workhorse. This will keep you warm all winter, even if you live in drafty old places, and it will last for ages! I will be sad to let my old, threadbare robe go. It's been with me for about two decades! Nice to see I can still get a new one, and for a bit less money than the original one. I hate to be boring, but I may even go for the same color.
