Unfortunately, I had to return it because the large was too big in the arms and shoulder. Even though my friend wears a large in his shirts, he is not heavy. He is trim, and the robe wrapped around toward his back. I would have traded for a medium, but they did not have one in stock in white.

Very well made and thick. My husband is 5'9" & narrow and wears a medium size robe. This medium made him look like a boy wearing his dad's overcoat - arms are generously wide, length was to the floor, and with shipping costs, I was hesitant to order the small to test the sizing. A very nicely made robe though, that looks like it would last 10 years.
