Really nice robe! The nicest I've every had, actually!

I bought my wife one of these not long ago, and she loves it. I've had the same bath robe for years, and though I've always been happy with it, I've always wished the arms were full length instead of mid-fore arm, and I've ALWAYS wanted a robe that comes down closer to ground level instead of just below the knee. Too be honest, when I first received this robe, the shoulders were way too large, which made the arms so long I had to roll them up l"3 cuff lengths" to get them right. I really didn't want to send it back, so I washed it in hot water, and it worked! The length is still almost ankle length, and everything fits well. (I do have to roll the cuffs back one turn, but I had read another review where another gentleman did this and loved it anyway, so this is just fine. It's heavy cotton terry, but not cumbersome. With a pair of wool socks, I'm covered neck to toe. BTW, the collar is very generous, so if I have to venture outside, even my neck stays warm. The only thing that would make this better is if it were made in the USA. I am very disheartened to see so much sold from STP coming from China and third world countries these days at American price levels when so many Americans are unemployed due to NAFTA. But, otherwise, this is a really nice robe, and of course, STP takes the bite out of the exorbitant profits that outsourced manufacturers are creating. Thanks
