I got it because we had a cold snap and I was going to be standing outside at my daughter's ski race for an entire day and my old fleece gaiter wasn't going to cut it. It did the job, but it was tough to talk because it was so snug that it made it hard to move my mouth. I'm interested to see if it relaxes a bit as it gets used more. I really like the inside lining on it - super soft and feels nice on your face.
