The Kilner carbon steel jam pan is not only large (and more safe for jam prep) but beautiful. The best part was the extra handle not shown in the pictures.     The Kilner carbon steel jam pan is not only large (and more safe for jam prep) but beautiful. The best part was the extra handle not shown in the pictures. That handle helps stead the pot when pouring our as quantity gets lower. It is very sturdy and even though not heavy stainless steel, I think it will protect from burns and will last a long time.
