So well designed; it folds up into a portable little thing where all the rods are stored. The silicone grips protect your hands from when the grill is hot and also attach to the outer edges of the grill when it's folded up to secure the rods but there's 2 layers to the silicone which make it less likely to fall off during transportation. It is so sturdy when assembled. I can't say enough good things about this product, just really well made. Love it.

Stows in a very small space under a seat, or anywhere. It’s stailness steel, so don’t whine about the weight in your backpack, as it’s not titanium.

It assembles really sturdy, & is adjustable for height. The legs do appear to be aluminum or other very light metal, so keep the fire small. It packs really small- 17&1/4 x 2 x 1&1/4. Assembled size is 17 x 17 x 7- the height adjusts down to about 2". Crossbars bow up about 1/2" in the middle because they are under compression- doesn't look like a problem though. Only thing I'm worried about is how well it will withstand the heat, but looks more substantial than the others I've had over the years. Look forward to trying it out.
