I had to leave a similar same sized product behind that has a leather case. I brought the case home and bought this to replace the missing one...we had to fly back as an emergency so couldn't carry this type of item. I don't think even on the checked luggage. Rather than take a chance I just left it behind. But the leather case needed a refill. Think this well work. If not I'll make a similar case with a velcro strap to hold it in my hand while I go on daily runs. I was stalked by a Mt. Lion two days in a row and a Bear chased another lady last year...so not a bad idea. I usually forget I've got it in my pocket. Carry bear spray when Hiking the back country however. I carry when I travel by car alone too. Small so it's easy to keep out of site and out of the way both. Just a little protection just in case. Have to take the sellers word that it's good stuff and would do the job. A warning some people aren't effected by pepper spray...who knew? Most bad guys are though if I understand correctly. A good price here.
