Reviewed by J.G. from Mississippi on Tuesday, July 2, 2013I bought this case for a Browning BLR lever-action take-down rifle. Overall it works fine, but it would be nice if the velcro straps were not arbitrarily and permanently attached in fixed positions where they are.
The case seems well made with good hardware, but while it may be airline approved, I don't believe I would trust it with an airline. This is not really a "hard" case - more of a "stiff" soft case. The sides are quite flexible. For my application it was difficult to position the two rifle parts (with scout scope on barrel) so that they were not in danger of touching each other. There is plenty of room to do so, but the position of the straps is weird and not changeable. I would give 5 stars if the straps could be re-positioned. Good quality for the price.
