These things are probably some of the most durable trail runners I have ever had.
I wear them daily and use them 3-4 times a week for 3-6 mile trail runs.
I am not a professional runner, but use them to X-train for another sport so they see most of their use in the winter. They hold up to moisture ... Read More

I was a little worried that other reviewers had called them tight or narrow. They started out snug, but after a day or two of wearing them, they feel just fine.
I've worn these on several walks, short hikes and a ropes course. They've held up very well, and they aren't as garish as many similar shoes.

Loved them for a few weeks and then water started seeping in from the sides. I do a lot of trail running and walking so I am not sure if they wore at the seams over time or what, but the sides of my socks get wet in puddles and it isn't because they submerge. I have tested this. Too bad. Had a lot of promise. Never had any problems with other Vasque products.

  • “Do these shoes run true to size? If not, how so?”
Asked by Marc LeBlanc from Fairfax, VA on 2/19/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • These fit true to size.

    • I have a wide foot -9half EE. So for certain brands I have to get them a size larger in order to get a decent fit. I have a pair of Vasque hiking shoes, so knew that these trail shoes would feel narrow. Ordered 10half, but they still felt a half size small and narrow. But either they're giving (stretching some) or my feet are adjusting - maybe both. So far no problems - blisters or arch issues. But really haven't put in a lot of mileage with them yet.

About Vasque

For more than fifty years, Vasque boots have been helping hikers, backpackers, mountaineers and trail runners get off the beaten path and out into the wilderness. When company founder William D. Sweasy traveled to Europe in the 1960s and saw how recreational hiking was sweeping the continent, he knew it wouldn’t be long before the craze reached American soil. In the years since Sweasy created the Vasque footwear company, Vasque hiking boots and mountaineering boots have become synonymous with outdoor exploration. Whether your destination is a local trail or a craggy alpine summit, Vasque shoes and boots provide the support, all-terrain traction and top-quality construction that lasts for many miles of adventure.
