I hike 4-5 days per week in the Tetons and was so tired of blisters, toe problems, etc. Finally went back to Vasque after my last pair wore out years ago. (I had tried many other brands, none of which lasted very long and all gave me blisters or downhill toe smash.) These boots required no break in... Read More

I really like these shoes, they look great, lightweight, well-built and supportive. Perhaps too well-built as the tops of the shoes cut into my ankles and I had to return them. I run into that problem a lot, so it's probably not the shoes' fault, rather, my weird feet that are the problem. I would recommend these shoes for someone with perhaps a more normal foot. I should know better than to buy shoes without trying them on. But these are nice for the right person.

I like it a lot. Gore-tex is always good for all year round. Good for hiking and running.

Did not fit properly so I had to return them. I am a standard 6 length and my big toe rubbed. My foot is a little wide but normally fine in sneakers. My small toe was also rubbing on the side. Not the right shoe for me unfortunately.

I live in ottawa, it is cold here. These shoes are very hot on the feet, they do not seem to breath. As much as I love the sturdiness of them, I cannot imagine wearing them out when there is no snow on the ground. They are waterproof so far. But I have another pair of waterproof hiking shoes that are not as hot, would go back to these if I was going on a long hike. I fear my sweating feet would slide around in these.

About Vasque

For more than fifty years, Vasque boots have been helping hikers, backpackers, mountaineers and trail runners get off the beaten path and out into the wilderness. When company founder William D. Sweasy traveled to Europe in the 1960s and saw how recreational hiking was sweeping the continent, he knew it wouldn’t be long before the craze reached American soil. In the years since Sweasy created the Vasque footwear company, Vasque hiking boots and mountaineering boots have become synonymous with outdoor exploration. Whether your destination is a local trail or a craggy alpine summit, Vasque shoes and boots provide the support, all-terrain traction and top-quality construction that lasts for many miles of adventure.
