Vaude 43°F Snow Cloud 350 Sleeping Bag - Synthetic, Mummy (For Women)

Closeouts. Sleep soundly without overheating in Vaude's Snow Cloud 350 sleeping bag. The kidney zone and foot sack are lined with soft microfleece, and a full-length zipper means it can be used as a blanket on hot nights.

I bought this bag for spring and summer use. My first impressions were good... It's very soft and light and easily compresses down into a surprisingly small (included !) compression sack. Note: This bag has not been tested outside yet; however, my heat failed last night and it was 21 degrees (outside) and this bag had just come... Serendipity! I was comfortable and happy despite having no heat. I love the micro fleece placement and that it's long enough for me. I'm 5'9" and usually women's bags are way too short.! (It's really attractive as well.) So far so good...I will follow up after trying it in the wild.

The zipper sticks a bit with the microfleece - a little frustrating, but I haven't ripped it yet. It has a nice pocket inside if you need to store anything in your bag with you.

Super sleeping bag which is light to carry & warm to use. I tend to get hot during the night so this is perfect for me. It is light so, I am not sure if it would be warm enough in the snow. My son snagged my North Face bag & so I was looking for a replacement & this worked out well. Good price! The zipper is very nice & sturdy....comes with a stuff sac

I used the Vaude sleeping bag in a pretty warm cabin, and it was warm and comfortable all night long. The fabric is slippery and synthetic, but for the price, I was satisfied with it.

Forewarning, this is a pronto review since there's scant/incorrect info on this bag, but I've NOT tried 40 deg. temps yet, so most important detail I can't attest to. Give me a break, livin' in south florida. Clearly it's a warm weather bag...perfect for my everglades trips (using down on previous trips, pushed my luck keeping it dry). I already have a nice Vaude pack so figured I'd add bag, especially priced so low. First Impressions: zipper is excellent... engineered well for less snags, fleece linings nice, pull cords quality, surprise fleece pocket/insulation in toe box..could stuff with clothing to warm your feet even more. Also, came with quality 200L compression sack, not just simple stuff sack, way too big for just the bag, so leaves ample room to throw you clothes in too! With sack come to around 2.5 lbs, closer to 2 without sack, so it's lighter than advertised. tag says 1050 g. Seems somewhat large for a woman's bag...I'm 5'9" and 130 lbs...plenty of room, not a bad thing. Germans make real nice outdoors stuff but must be color blind...light material bound to show dirt, oh well. In short, all the details you'd find in much higher priced bags for an entry level price.
