This daypack is designed like I have imagined my perfect daypack. Easy outside storage big enough for a Nalgene, storage in the top for snacks and gear, lots of space inside for extra layers.

Reviewed by doc from Canon City, Colorado on Friday, March 8, 2013While the bag is a bit heavy, 2 lbs, it has nice features that you do not normally see on day packs. This pack has a roomy main top load compartment that easily holds my overnight emergency bag, jetboil stove, 1 litre nalgene bottle, and two mountain house meals with plenty of room to spare. It has a bladder sleeve, and a port for the hose to come out of the top of the bag. A really nice feature is the built rain sleeve located in the bottom of the pack. The top hatch compartment will hold your necessary small items, (compass, map, firestarter kit, basic blister/bandaid kit, knife, etc..), the back compartment is great for maps and other small essentials. The bottom loops allow for ice axe or pole storage. The side loop is great for other gear attachment such as ropes, quick draws, etc.. The Shoulder straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. They are not designed for the 6'plus guys. The waist belt is easy to adjust, and good for loads less than 25 lbs. Much more and the shoulder staps bite, and the hip belt starts to loose its support a bit. It is comfortable and snugs into your back really good, making those technical moves easier, and steep terrain that much easier to negotiate. The back panel is breatheable thus keeping you cooler. This pack has an internal adjustment feature that allows you to perfectly fit the pack to your body. I REALLY like this feature. You can micro adjust your pack to your body. It was a KILLER DEAL!! I will use it on fourteeners this spring and summer here in colorado.

Reviewed by Hiker Guy from Wisconsin on Saturday, December 29, 2012The adjustability in the fit is very nice, as you can really get the pack to almost feel weightless sitting on the hips. The construction is solid, and the storage compartments are very versatile.
The only cons are I wish it had a few more compartments on the inside to separate gear, and the color was more yellow on mine than the picture (which some people may actually like). Overall I'm happy with it. -
