Great day pack

Great day pack, good fit with expandable storage. Room left over after food, a 3L hydration bladder, rain jacket, and a softshell. I love the expandable and collapsable exterior pockets. I have the Jura 24 as well, but it is much more suited to my wife.

FunctionalVerified Buyer Reviewed by Erin the Hiker from Indiana on Saturday, April 29, 2017Lots of pockets. Wanted something for day hikes or one overnight that would be waterproof and fit my hydration reservoir. Lots of external pockets for little things and I like that I can fit my bike helmet in the outer elastic bands if I take it on my bike.
Not as picturedReviewed by mtangler from Central PA. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013My pack did not have the lash tabs on the lid as shown and it appeared as there is lash points on bottom of pack, there weren't any...
Nice pack well made could use mesh pockets to hold water bottle.
Feels cheap & flimsyReviewed by Laufen Leslie from Indiana on Friday, April 12, 2013I ordered this along with a comparable pack from Mountainsmith and Mountain Hardware. In comparison, the Vaude felt cheap and flimsy. The straps are REALLY thin. It has a lot of nice features including a rain cover packed away in a little pouch on the bottom of the pack. And the side zippers expand by quite a bit. I liked the design and the size felt just right for a short backpacking trip or lightweight backpacker-style travel. But the quality was poor, so I sent it back.
