Purchased this item in June 2014, great deal on closeout.

Had a chance to really test the Terkum capability on a 10-mile trip in the Chugach mountains of Alaska. Trail was a nice combination of packed dirt, roots, small stream crossings, switchbacks and plenty of mud. I was carrying gear and fo... Read More

Took this to Iceland for 9 days and it worked great other than one issue.... Chest strap comes off easy. It popped off the track a couple of times and it was very frustrating trying to re-attach it. Some stitching came loose on the one of the shoulder straps too. I found if you keep the chest strap in the middle section of the rail it won't come off.

Overall this is a great product with great features. I would recommend it. Would have given 5 stars if I didn't have these issues. Rainfly was great considering it rained every day. Kept everything nice and dry.

Had a chance to really test the Terkum capability on a 10-mile trip in the Chugach mountains of Alaska. Trail was a nice combination of packed dirt, roots, small stream crossings, switchbacks and plenty of mud. I was carrying gear and food for myself and two kids to the tune of about 46lbs...

The Terkum adjustments took just a couple minutes to dial-in; the shoulder harness adjustment is located in the hip belt (pretty cool) so you just set the height so the hip belt rides on your iliac crest, tighten the belt and cinch down with the BOA system. The transfer of weight to the pelvis was great and the hike was comfortable given the weight. Ventilation across the back is adequate and the shoulder padding is good.

Construction of the pack is very good with heavy zippers, double stitching and heavy cordura nylon. Hydration sleeve was nice to have although the water bottle holders were not too useful. The built in rain cover (located in the bottom compartment) was a good addition. Compression straps were all functional and sturdy. This was my first purchase of a Vaude product and I am quite satisfied. This pack is a solid value at this price.

Appears to be well made and rugged. Lots of nice features at an unbeatable price. As others reviews have said, the chest strap can slip but a minor issue.

The sternum strap comes off extremely easy. I had sewed the straps on with some other material I have. Not ideal, but the rest of the bag is nice and for the price of the bag I didn't want to return it for something easily fixed. The bag is easy to size and very comfortable.

  • “When will the stock”
Asked by Ersin asil from Turkey on 7/11/2016 11:10:33 AM
    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.
