5.0 out of 5 stars. Bison Design Web Belt

This is a great belt, sturdy, light weight, and great for travel or just every day wear.
I like this belt for air travel. There is no metal, so you do not have to remove it when going thru metal detectors. A nice convenience.

This belt is exactly what I was looking for. It is light and casual, goes well with jeans or hiking pants. I bought two of them in different colors.

I needed a simple, adjustable belt and this product delivered. Nice weight to the nylon webbing, but not too stiff.

These are simply the best belts for activewear and for travel. Waterproof, ultra-low profile, lightweight etc. The cost is low enough that I have a belt for every pair of shorts that I wear (8 belts). They are easily adjustable - simply cut to exact length needed with a razor and seal the edge by lightly touching a heat source. Sierra TP has by far the best price you'll ever see on these as they run $14-22 each in the stores.

Tip - Put the belt on the shorts/pants first to determine the best place to cut as placement of belt loops differs from garment to garment. This way you won't trim the end too short for any item you might wear with it.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight and holds well

I ordered online a couple of these, in different colors, and just bought another one at the Greenwood Village (CO) store. Study, well made, lightweight and the buckle has teeth which holds the nylon webbing in place. Great price too. And, as sales associate at the store pointed out, they do not "roll" when used in the waistband! I use the belts for casual pants, hiking shorts and will try on my ski pants next winter.

About Bison Designs

Brian Kelleghan of Bison Designs thinks outside the box. Not too many people would look at climbing gear and come up with pet collars, but the founder of Bison Designs did just that back in 1987. Using webbing for climbing, he began making Bison Designs belts and pet collars from the weather-resistant, shock-tested material - perfect for the dog who suddenly lunges into action when a rabbit crosses his path. Staying true to their mountaineering roots, Bison Designs has also taken the carabiner and molded it into dozens of useful, whimsical shapes. It's impossible to say what Brian and Bison Designs will come up with next, but you can be sure they will carry on the tradition of finding practical new uses inspired by mountaineering equipment.
