Thickness of fabric is medium. It has enough weight to give it substance but not so much that it is bulky. Nicer looking than I expected. Doesn't scream sweatshirt.

By the time I get to bed at night the house is usually very cool, if not cold, and I like to sit in bed and read a bit before going to sleep. A suggestion to the person that commented on buttons hard to work.
It seems that some of the button holes are cut a little too small, therefor the buttons are hard to get through. The best is to cut the holes open just a very little bit at the ends, right between the buttonhole seams. Use small sharp scissors and proceed with care.
Suggestion to the person who's jacket got very wrinkled in the wash.
I have not washed mine yet, but will, as I always do with Calida, wash it in cool water on Gentle with a little Tide Cool Wash. Then lay it flat and smooth the wrinkles with my hands. Hang to dry.

More design details than expected. Appreciate the pockets, and the fitted sleeves don't get in the way of tasks like similar jackets with loose ones. On the down side, the care directions specify no dryer and, when hung to dry, the end result is rather wrinkled, which shows more on the lighter color.
