So when we ordered this for our daughter I thought it would be a good jacket for cool weather. Too thin even for the winters in NC. Had to return because it would not have been warm enough even for the Piedmont area.

There's no way real women in the US or Europe could've fit this jacket. I don't have a large chest, but it flattened my breasts and compressed them when I extended my arms to the side. It was too tight across the shoulders and I'm not broad. I don't recommend it for anyone with breasts larger than a cup size B.

It is very light weight but the down should keep me plenty warm. It is a little shinier than I would have guessed from the picture. Be aware: I ordered a size small. I am 5'5", with 36.5 inch hips and the coat is snug - sizing indicated it would be appropriate for 38 inch hips so order accordingly.
