This is great when you need to change clothes in a tent, for example. (I just like pulling them on at home in the summer without fuss.) They only need to be ironed if you want to wear them "dressed up" with a crisp white sleeveless top. I gave up on other shorts because they wrinkle easily and alway need to be ironed before wearing. Finally, these shorts last and last. I have no idea whether they will ever wear out, because I'm still wearing the first pair I bought many years ago.

These shorts are medium, the old ones are large, and these are at least 3-4 sizes smaller. One pair fits fine but they are at least 3 inches shorter than the large, and the other pair I can barely get on over my hips, they are also really really short when I sit down.
