The weave is a bit open (doesn't outwardly appear that way due to the "eyelash" yarn used) so don't plan on using these for the snow. The price was excellent... we got these for an angel tree child, and I doubt we could have purchased something half as nice elsewhere for the price.

Looks like good sizing for our 3 year old girl who likes soft and pink. I usually get her several sets of mittens a year. We are always misplacing them. At this price it is affordable.
