2.0 out of 5 stars. goofy but effectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by JOmega from Baton Rouge on Thursday, August 25, 2016For a few bucks, it is hard to complain. I ordered 2 of these, and one of them has an odd shape at the top of the face opening that kinda pooches out like a duckbill. The other is normal. On the ones I got, the trim around the opening is bright green, not yellow. I'm sure when it gets cold enough, I won't care about the goofy fabric shape. Both are comfortable and soft inside, with no aggravating stitching.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Untested, But Seems Legit.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Greslyel from TN on Wednesday, August 10, 2016Seems to be well made, very comfortable, and warm. Plan to use it on some treks, ascents and cold weather activities. 4 out of 5 stars will be adjusted after a few times of wearing it in colder temps. I doubt this hat will disappoint especially since I got it for 2.50.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great ProductVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jimmy the night rider from Sebastopol, CA on Monday, July 18, 2016Been wearing this balaclava during my early morning bicycle rides for a few months now. It is just the right amount of protection to keep the chill off my head in 50 degree weather. Much colder and more layer might be in order. All depends on what level of freezing ears you can tolerate?
It is light weight and easily fits under the bicycling helmet. I like the fact that the facial opening is below the nose. I have found that it can be breathed through (mouth breathing) during most of my riding, except the hills where I just pull the opening down below my chin to facilitate more air volume. STP's pricing on this item can't be beat. I liked this product so much, I purchased more a month or so after my first purchase and by then STP was selling them even cheaper! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Fleece head cover for young boysReviewed by Twin Momma from TN on Wednesday, March 16, 2016I bought one of these for each of my three sons (aged 5-7). They all have heads on the large side and these fit snug, but well. I can't imagine they would fit an average adult very well... unless you wanted to wear it really snug under a helmet. They seem to be put together well with reinforced stitching.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Okay for womenVerified Buyer Reviewed by wool sock lover from U.S. on Sunday, February 14, 2016I live in a cold place & I try to walk for exercise several times a week--regardless of the weather. Since I have asthma, it is important for me to cover my face. This looked like a good choice for a balaclava, but I was put off by the fact that it says it's for men. It works great & fits just fine, so, women, don't be afraid to buy it! Grand Sierra should change its designation.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Does the Job.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Saint Richard from Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, February 11, 2016Fit is okay, just a little tight around the mouth. Works quiet well. Took a walk this morning 10 degrees and felt no discomfort. For the STP price I would recommend this, even if you don't ski.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fleece balaclavaVerified Buyer Reviewed by skippy from PA on Sunday, February 7, 2016I have needed a balaclava for a long time while running in the cold PA mornings and decided that this one seemed to fit my needs. Although it is a mens small--it fit perfectly for me as a woman who wears size small. The price was unbeatable and it is very warm and well-fitted.

5.0 out of 5 stars. GreatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Owen H from USA on Thursday, February 4, 2016For $5 I don't think you can find a better balaclava. The material is fairly thick, for me it is best for temperatures below freezing. It's not obvious from the picture, but you can pull the bottom part up over your nose as well. I have a pretty average size head and it fit me fine.
