Already has saved my toes many accidents. The construction of these sandals is stout and very thoughtful. I appreciate the flaps that cushion the sides of your feet and prevent the straps from rubbing blisters on your feet. They are very well made; I expect to wear them a long time. They will not fail due to poor quality.
I have a floppy foot from a prior operation that causes my heels to wear excessively. Do not expect this to be an issue with my Wolfskins. -

Loved the bottom sole and toe-stub guard. Unfortunately, the straps were way off. My husband is a normal size 10, and the sandals beds were the perfect length. However, the straps were way too long. To fit, we went to the Velcro that made it as tight as possible on both the toe and instep straps. Then we had long strap pieces sticking out that got in the way. It's hard to believe someone would have fatter feet than my husband for the sandals to fit correctly. Also, the sole had little shoe bed support, so my husband's heel hung out over the inner part of the sole. We returned the sandals. Even though the fit problem was the shoemaker's, not a wrong choice by us, we still had to pay $7 return shipping. Sierra Trading Post should give free shipping if the item is not as described.
