I purchased them for a vacation and have walked in them a lot. I love that they are Velcro, but like all Velcro I am concerned the Velcro will lose its stickiness before the leather and other parts of the shoe are worn out.

I have a bit of a walking commute to work, and wore the new sandals with no problems! also appreciate that the side buckle is an illusion -- it's actually velcro underneath, making it much easier to put on and take off these sandals.
